Yankton Co. issues open burning ban for weekend

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) - Yankton County officials are issuing a temporary ban on open burning for the rest of this weekend. According to the Yankton County Emergency Management's website, extremely dry conditions in southern parts of South Dakota could lead to fire conditions. The ban on open burning will be in place until Monday.
