Aston convenience store scores a winning ticket after Power Play doubles the Pennsylvania prize
ASTON, PA – A Powerball ticket sold at an Aston Royal Farms turned Wednesday’s $1.04 billion jackpot drawing into a $100K win closer to home, with the Delaware County ticket matching four white balls and the Powerball before a Power Play multiplier doubled the prize.
The Pennsylvania Lottery announced Thursday that Royal Farms at 3314 Market St. sold the $100,000-winning ticket for the Aug. 12 drawing.
The winning numbers were 4, 26, 66, 67 and 69, with Powerball 9.
The Aston ticket matched four of the five white balls plus the red Powerball.
That combination normally carries a $50,000 prize, but the player purchased the $1 Power Play option.
