DENVER (KDVR) -- Two teens were seriously hurt with gunshot wounds after a large gathering in Aurora led to an argument and a shooting early Saturday, according to police.
The Aurora Police Department said just after midnight, officers were called to a shooting call in the 800 block of South Naples Way.
There were reports that "a large gathering of people" moved to the street and an argument broke out.
The argument escalated and gunfire was exchanged, police said.
A teenage boy was found with a serious gunshot wound and taken to a local hospital.
A second boy arrived at a local hospital shortly after. He was also suffering from a serious gunshot wound.
Police said officers found a juvenile male on the scene carrying a weapon. He was arrested, but his involvement in the shooting was unknown.
