4 hurt after two-vehicle crash in Pointe Coupee Parish

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Four people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Morganza.

According to the Pointe Coupee Fire District 2, Morganza Fire Department, Chief 200, Engine 210, Rescue 233 and Medic 2 responded to a two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 in Morganza. Upon their arrival, crews came across a vehicle collision that was blocking the road.

Three people were treated for minor injuries, while another person was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries, according to the Pointe Coupee Fire District 2, Morganza Fire Department.

"Let's keep all those involved in our thoughts and prayers. Wishing them a swift and complete recovery," said the Pointe Coupee Fire District 2, Morganza Fire Department in a Facebook post.
