PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — A sanitary sewer overflow in Prichard on Thursday, Aug. 1, caused over 41,000 gallons of wastewater to overflow into Chickasaw Creek, according to the Mobile County Health Department.
The Prichard Water Waste & Sewer Board reported that the wastewater was caused by heavy rain, according to the MCHD release.
The 41,450-gallon sewage overflow happened on the 190 block of Wood Street.
