6/17/26: Storm Chance Today, Greater Threat Thursday

After a mostly dry morning, scattered showers and storms are anticipated to develop for the afternoon. Not everyone sees rain today, but a far greater threat for some rain, thunderstorms, and strong wind gusts exists with a potent system swinging to our north on Thursday. Quieter weather, albeit still quite breezy conditions, will carry us into the upcoming weekend.
