The Pima County Sheriff’s Department is the focal point of A&E’s new reality series Desert Law, but Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance will not be featured.
The department — which is currently investigating the disappearance of Today host Savannah Guthrie’s mother — reportedly filmed the current season, which is airing now, last year.

Despite the media and public attention surrounding the case, Guthrie’s disappearance will not play out on the reality show.
According to TMZ, production sources told the outlet, “They have not been filming Desert Law during the Nancy Guthrie investigation…[and] they’re not looking to do reshoots.”
