BRITISH COLUMBIA. Canada - St. Louis Blues defenseman Nick Leddy and his father enjoyed a "lifetime" fishing experience during their offseason trip up north, catching multiple 10-foot sturgeon from the Fraser River in Canada.
Leddy and his father Mike ended up with a monster-sized sturgeon not once, not twice, but three times during their recent adventure in British Columbia's waters.
The father-son trip is part of a yearly tradition with fishing company Sturgeon Slayers. Leddy's catches, at the very least, came close to Sturgeon Slayers' all-time record of 11 feet, 6 inches from the Fraser River.
"Nicks 3rd Sturgeon over 10’ fork length! Unexplainable for those that know. The odds of not only a guest getting a lifetime fish, but the same guest getting multiple different lifetime fish? Wild," said Sturgeon Slayers via Instagram.
