PIERRE, S.D. (KELO) -- KELOLAND News has an update on the legal battle over Constitutional Amendment G.
The measure would add abortion rights to South Dakota's constitution.
Earlier this year a judge dismissed the lawsuit to keep the measure off the November ballot.
On Friday the state supreme court sent the measure back to a lower court.
Now, a hearing is scheduled for August 26th, which is nearly two weeks after the deadline to certify copies of all ballot questions.
Opponents of the measure have said even if Amendment G is on the ballot, the lawsuit will continue.
