Above-average temps return with thunderstorms popping up in Utah this week

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) - Happy Tuesday, Utah! The start of our work week brought the return of active skies with thunderstorms, thanks to an increase of monsoon moisture around a ridge of high pressure to the east of the state.

Bottom Line? Monsoon moisture rotating around a ridge of high pressure will push into Utah throughout the week, keeping a chance of afternoon thunderstorms around in parts of the state.
