Aerosmith ends farewell tour, retiring from the road

(WJW) — Legendary rock band Aerosmith announced Friday evening they're officially retiring from the stage.

The announcement comes as the four-time Grammy award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Famers still had dozens of upcoming dates for its "Peace Out: The Farewell Tour," which was scheduled to run through February 2025.

The tour began last September and was postponed after just three dates, when lead singer Steven Tyler fractured his larynx.
