DENVER (KDVR) — Another retail chain has filed for bankruptcy and is closing locations in Colorado.
Conn's HomePlus, the 134-year-old home goods retailer, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Tuesday, according to FOX Business. Conn's has been in business since 1890 and operates over 170 stores in 15 states with its headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas near Houston, per its website.
Now, the company said 70 of its stores will close for good, and six of those will be in Colorado.
Conn's has listed every store that will close in the U.S. and said they are having an "everything must go" event in-store only.
