EAST VILLAGE, Manhattan (PIX11) – The city is launching a new effort to crack down on crime along 14th Street in Manhattan.
The area has seen a rash of violent crimes, including a triple stabbing near Avenue A and East 14th Street back in June. The 14th Street Community Improvement Coalition will focus on tackling crime between 1st Avenue and Avenue A.
