Arkansas joins 48 other states in $15.5 million mortgage services settlement

NewRez LLC dba Shellpoint Mortgage Services agreed to a $15.5 million settlement across 49 states, including Arkansas, following allegations that the company improperly charged over 4,200 borrowers for force-placed insurance they already possessed.
