LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Saturday afternoon, former President Trump was was rushed off stage at his rally in Pennsylvania with blood on his face after sounds that resembled gunshots.
Though officials with the Secret Service said that the former president is safe, leaders from throughout the Natural State have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to offer their prayers.
“President Trump won’t be stopped. America can’t be broken. Pray for our country,” Arkansas Governor and former Trump administration Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders stated.
Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton also sent out prayers to Trump and his supporters.
“Please join Anna and me in praying for President Trump, his agents, and all his supporters at the rally in Butler.” Cotton stated.
Senator John Boozman also took to X and asked for prayer for Trump and those in attendance at the rally.
“Please join me in praying for President Trump as well as those in attendance at today’s rally and our entire country.” Boozman posted.
