Arkansas removing state sales tax on groceries in 2026

With 2026 around the corner, more than a dozen new laws will take effect across Arkansas, including one aimed at easing the cost of everyday necessities.  Among the most closely watched by consumers in the capital city is Act 1008, which removes the state’s 0.125% sales tax on groceries.
