Arkansas Storm Team Blog: A look back at July

Usually, July is known for its hot, humid, and dry weather. This year, below-average temperatures took over for a good chunk of the month.

July 2024 had 17 days with below-average temperatures, 13 days had above-average temperatures, and one day came in right at average.

Our below-average temperatures also featured a string of days below 90°. July 17th through the 23rd featured high temperatures all in the 80s.

That stretch of below-average temperatures helped to keep our average high temperature for the month below where it typically is. This year's average high was 90.9°, while normally it is 91.7°.
