Arkansas Storm Team Blog: Beryl ends drought conditions in Arkansas

With several inches of rainfall brought by Beryl to The Natural State, drought conditions have greatly improved.

Last week's drought update released on the 4th of July showed a few areas of moderate drought across northcentral Arkansas. Much of northern Arkansas was categorized as abnormally dry, meaning it is close, but not quite under drought conditions.

With many areas seeing several inches of rain from Beryl and even breaking some records, drought conditions have disappeared. As of today's (Thursday, July 11th) update, there are only a few spots of abnormally dry land left. The areas of moderate drought have been completely wiped away.
