Arrest made in Chula Vista cold case homicide five years after fatal shooting

A suspect has been arrested in connection with a 2021 homicide in Chula Vista after a years-long investigation, after the victim was shot and killed while confronting suspects who were allegedly burglarizing homes in his neighborhood.
