CENTRE COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — Ag Progress Days is returning to Centre County on August 13, but work on an art piece is already in the works.

The art piece features one of Pennsylvania's staple crops, corn. This crop art pays homage to renowned environmentalist, farmer and poet, Wendell Berry. Berry lived in Port Royal, Kentucky and he held a deep reverence for agriculture. He authored over 50 books of poetry, fiction and essays. Each one held the message that humans must live in harmony with the natural rhythms of Earth.
