Astoria’s ‘iconic’ Neptune Diner closes its doors after four decades

ASTORIA, Queens (PIX11) – Astoria’s family-owned Neptune Diner said goodbye yesterday after serving up more than four decades of good meals and great memories. 

Loyal customers dropped by, and some even brought their families to bid a final farewell.

The Neptune Diner still has two other locations Bayside, Queens and Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

“It’s just an iconic old place in Astoria, just a sign of the times. … It’s sad,” one patron told PIX11 News.
