Blood drive set for Bedford County, here's how to donate

BEDFORD COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — An upcoming blood drive is set for Bedford County and your donation can help someone in need of a transplant.

The drive is set for Friday, Aug. 2 from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bedford Area Ambulance Service. According to the American Red Cross, donors are desperately needed and anyone who donates in August will receive a $20 Amazon gift card.

You can register for the Bedford blood drive or find another drive that's closer to you on the American Red Cross website.
