Body of missing woman found at Grand Canyon, investigation underway

GRAND CANYON, Arizona (ABC4) -- National Park Service personnel found the body of a missing woman at Grand Canyon on Tuesday.

On Aug. 6, authorities found the body of Leticia A. Castillo, 20, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, below Twin Overlooks along Desert View Drive at Grand Canyon National Park.

Park rangers found Castillo around 150 feet below the rim, according to a press release from the NPS. Her body was transported to the rim and taken to the Coconino County Medical Examiner's Office.
