Brooklyn dance studio owner and community baby shower fund needs support

BROOKLYN (PIX11) – A Brooklyn Dance studio owner needs a bigger space, and an organization received $50,000 to help coordinate community baby showers.

PIX11 News first met the talented children at Bianca's Dance Academy in Ocean Hill, Brooklyn, in 2016. Eight years later, Bianca Hunter sent PIX11 News a video of the children crammed in a church basement trying to practice their moves.

Next, In September, PIX11 News covered a community baby shower. It was standing room only. More than 75 women registered. Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso was there, and Reynoso now has good news: creating a $50,000 'Community Baby Shower Fund' to support Brooklyn parents.

He wants organizations to apply.
