UNIONDALE, Long Island (PIX11) --- A Brooklyn man is facing terrorism charges after allegedly threatening to shoot up a Long Island library on Thursday, police said.
Curtis Desir, 29, allegedly told the staff he was going to shoot them while standing outside the Uniondale Libray at 400 Uniondale Ave. at 9:25 a.m., according to the Nassau County Police Department.
The library went into lockdown until officers arrived at the scene and arrested Desir, who was unarmed, police said. There were no injuries.
Desir, a Crown Heights resident, was charged with making a terroristic threat and menacing, police said. His arraignment was pending Friday.
