LOGANSPORT, Ind. (NewsNation) — The 14-year-old son of former NFL player Daniel Muir has been found “safe and well" more than two weeks after his reported disappearance, according to Indiana State Police (ISP).
Arrest warrants were issued Wednesday morning for Bryson Muir's parents, Daniel T. Muir and Kristin Muir, who were taken into custody at the Cass County Jail, ISP said. Daniel Muir faces one count of obstruction of justice and one count of domestic battery. Kristin Muir faces one count of obstruction of justice.
A statewide Silver Alert was issued for Byson Muir after he was last seen on June 16 after leaving a family member’s residence with his mother in Ohio, according to authorities.
ISP said he has been released into the custody of the Cass County Department of Child Services.
