PENNINGTON, NJ—The Watershed Institute will host its annual Butterfly Festival on August 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association, offering a day filled with engaging activities for nature lovers of all ages.
Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the Insect Zoo, enjoy the Butterfly and Bug Parade, and join guided tours of the Kate Gorrie Butterfly House. These interactive experiences aim to educate visitors on the importance of butterflies and insects in our ecosystem.
The festival also features a variety of food trucks, live entertainment, enchanting music, and children’s games and crafts. An array of vendors will be present, and The Nature Shop will be stocked with themed merchandise to enhance the festival experience.
