WEST BABYLON, N.Y. (PIX11) – Three people were injured after a car crashed into a house in West Babylon early Sunday morning, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
The car ended up vertically lodged into the home on Great East Neck Road near Crocus Court around 12:30 a.m., police said.
Police said 27-year-old driver Cristian Banega-Salmendares lost control of his car and struck a low concrete wall, causing the vehicle to flip into the air and crash into the home. Banega-Salmendares was rushed to an area hospital.
The two residents inside the home were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Now, their home is being evaluated for damage.
