NEW YORK (PIX11) – Rescue animals and their human companions celebrated the start of Dogust on Thursday.
The North Shore Animal League America stopped by PIX11 Morning News to celebrate and show off puppies ready to be adopted.
The animal rescue is holding free adoptions for dogs and cats 4 months and older from Aug. 1 to Aug. 11.
