JACKSON, NJ — The Jackson Pathfinders, a volunteer group dedicated to trail maintenance and nature conservation in Jackson Township, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. This enthusiastic group, composed of men, women, teens, and scouts, has been pivotal in maintaining and enhancing local trails without charging any dues or fees.
The Pathfinders manage four major trails: the Purple Heart Trail at Bunker Hill Bogs Recreation Area, the Silver Stream Trail at the Metedeconk Preserve, the Steve Kitay Living Trail accessed via Silver Stream Trail, and the Jackson Jungle Children’s Trail near the Jackson Justice Complex.
