Classic Honda of Midland invites community to nominate a favorite teacher, $500 Visa giveaway

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- Classic Honda of Midland announced its $500 Visa gift card giveaway to honor dedicated educators in the Permian Basin and invited community members to nominate their favorite teacher.

Joey Gabarda, owner of the family-owned dealership Classic Honda of Midland, which serves drivers in the Midland/Odessa region, said the giveaway is a “way of saying thank you” to local educators for “their invaluable contributions to our community.” 

To participate, community members were invited to nominate their favorite teacher by tagging them on any of the Classic Honda of Midland Teacher Giveaway Facebook posts, which can be found here, and leave a comment on why the nominated educator deserves to win. 

Nominations are reported to be open until Friday, August 2nd, and according to Classic Honda of Midland, the winner (who must be present for the gift card presentation), will be announced sometime during the following week, starting August 5th. 

“Let’s come together to show our local teachers some love and support and wish them all the best for the upcoming school year,” the Classic Honda of Midland press release stated.
