It was a calm and cool morning in KELOLAND, one you don't expect in the month of July.
High pressure from Canada brought in the calm conditions to the area with mostly clear skies. But the weather has been anything thing but calm across the U.S.
Another round of tornadoes moved through northern Illinois earlier this week, including areas in and near Chicago. Surveys are still being done, but reports are showing nearly 20 tornadoes touched down in northern Illinois. They are numbers that continue to add up the active tornado year across the country.
