JOHNSONBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A stand-off in Elk County led to police shooting and killing a man, District Attorney Beau M. Grove said.
State police are investigating the death of 40-year-old Jacob Nathaniel Grebbien, of Johnsonburg.
Grove confirmed that Grebbien was shot and killed by state police following the stand-off Wednesday morning. He added that his office will review the state police findings and conduct its investigation into the officer-involved shooting to determine if it was justified.
Court documents show that Grebbien had charges of terroristic threats filed against him on Aug. 8 and they were withdrawn and the docket was closed due to his death.
