BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Baldwin County business is one of two farms in south Alabama now licensed to grow medical marijuana, News 5 has learned.
Cultivator licenses were awarded to Pure by Sirmon Farms, LLC in Daphne and Blackberry Farms, LLC in Dothan after investigative hearings, according to a press release from the Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission.
Following the decision, Sirmon Farms shared that they aim to deliver the "purest high-quality cannabis products to help improve people’s lives, mentally and physically."
According to the farm's website, they can do that due to their over 100 years of growing experience.
