Deadly crash in Midland leaves one dead and two injured

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Texas Department of Public Safety reported a fatal crash that occurred on Wedensday, which resulted in the death of a Midland man.

According to the DPS crash report, on Wedensday July 3, around 6:17 p.m., the driver of a Dodge Avenger was traveling Westbound on County Road 60 and stopped at the Intersection of SH 158. 

Reports showed that the driver of the Dodge then failed to yield to the stop sign marked intersection which resulted in the fatal collision of the Dodge and a Ford F-350 vehicle that was headed southeast on SH 158. 

DPS also reported that both vehicles had passengers inside during the crash. 

The passenger inside the Dodge was 62-year-old Timothy Earl Bradford from Midland who was transported to Medical Memorial Hospital and later pronounced dead by medical staff. 

Reports also showed that both the driver of the Dodge and the Ford passenger were taken to the Medical Memorial Hospital as well with Minor injuries. The driver of the Ford was reported to have not been injured during the crash.

According to DPS officials, it was unknown if he or anyone else involved in the crash had a seatbelt on or not.

DPS stated that the crash remains under investigation and that no further information is available at this time.
