Denver police investigating woman's death as a homicide

DENVER (KDVR) -- Police in Denver are investigating a homicide that happened overnight in the Highland neighborhood.

Just before 1 a.m. Thursday, the Denver Police Department said in a post on X that it was investigating an outdoor death in the 3500 block of Rockmont Drive.

At 3:43 p.m., Denver police said a woman is dead and the case is now being investigated as a homicide.

Police said investigators are developing suspect information. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
