Weather today: Sunny and hot

The last of the showers are fizzling out over the eastern plains Sunday, with high temperatures in the middle 90s in store for the metro area. This is about 5 degrees above average for this time of the year. Mostly sunny skies will dominate the area.

Weather tonight: Clear skies and breezy

The skies remain clear overnight as lows sink down into the upper 50s and lower 60s. It will be breezy at times with gusts as high as 25 mph.
