Diamond ShruumzTM microdosing candy recall: 2 people ill in Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) -- Colorado health officials are investigating reported illnesses that may be connected to microdosing candies that are laced with a chemical found in mushrooms amid a nationwide recall.

The California company Prophet Premium Blends, LLC announced a recall of all Diamond Shruumz products because they contain a psychoactive chemical that may be connected to the illnesses.

U.S. Food and Drug Administration is investigating over 100 cases in 28 states in which people reported getting sick after eating the products, including 425 hospitalizations and two deaths that may be associated.
