Double homicide investigation ongoing in Denver

DENVER (KDVR) — Police are investigating a double homicide in Denver's Central Park neighborhood.

On Monday just before 8 a.m., the Denver Police Department posted on X that officers were conducting a death investigation in the 3200 block of North Syracuse Street.

About an hour later, Denver police provided an update saying a second person was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. Police believe the two deaths are connected and are now investigating the case as a double homicide.

Police did not provide information on the manner of death for either victim.

Denver police said investigators believe they are in contact with all the people involved in the deaths and more information will be released once it's available.
