Driver indicted after allegedly slamming car into LI nail salon, killing 4

DEER PARK, N.Y. (PIX11) – The man accused of slamming his car into a nail salon in Deer Park and killing four people in June has been indicted on a slew of charges including murder and driving while intoxicated, court records show. 

The 38-count indictment comes weeks after Steven Schwally, 64, allegedly crashed into Hawaii Nail & Spa on Grand Boulevard, killing off-duty NYPD officer Emilia Rennhack, Jian Chai Chen, Yan Xu and Mei Zi Zhang.
