ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - The Education Foundation of Odessa unveiled the new "Inspiration Station" on Tuesday, saying it's a state-of-the-art mobile classroom that can assist West Texas students. Local educators said they're excited about this innovative educational resource.

"So today is really a dream come true. The Education Foundation three years ago had a vision for creating an opportunity for the school system to reach out into the community to provide some learning experiences for students that typically couldn't be provided in a school setting or just experiences that we would provide in our community. And so the Inspiration Station was born and today is the reality of that dream," said Ector County ISD Superintendent Dr. Scott Muri.

"So this is a mobile classroom that is modular, meaning that it can be anything we want it to be. It can be a mobile book lab. It can help with immunizations for our students," said Executive Director of the Education Foundation, Celeste Potter.

The Education Foundation of Odessa offers programs and initiatives aimed at educating, inspiring, and empowering local students. You can learn more about the Foundation and its mission on the organization's website here.
