Emergency crews prepare for rising water levels in Eureka

The City of Eureka has erected new flood walls along Old Towne Eureka to protect the area and the local sewage treatment plant from anticipated flooding. Emergency crews are preparing for rising water levels on Friday night as rain moves through the region and water flows downstream from northern areas.
