INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — An Evansville man was taken into custody Friday afternoon after leading deputies on a pursuit in a stolen beer truck that ended in a crash.

Randall Baker, 41, was arrested after the semitruck he was driving struck a patrol vehicle and went off the road in Posey County.

Just after 3 p.m., Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s deputies spotted the stolen semitruck heading west on Diamond Avenue near Resurrection Drive. When they tried to pull the driver over, he refused to stop, leading deputies on a chase into neighboring Posey County.
