Fiesta de Piñatas looking for artists, cooks, register now

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — If you have a knack for making Mexican-style arts and crafts, the city of Harlingen has an event for you.

This September, the city is hosting its annual Fiesta de Piñatas at Gutierrez Park.

Organizers are looking for vendors and local artists to show off their crafts, such as jewelry, pottery, textiles and so much more.

The event is not limited to arts and crafts. The city is also inviting culinary artists to serve up their best tacos, tamales, tortas and other dishes.
