THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – The MTA is holding an open house for New York City Transit job openings in the Bronx this August.
The event will be held on Aug. 17 at the Bronx High School of Science from 9 a.m. to noon. Job openings include bus maintainers, auto mechanics, auto body technicians and auto mechanic helpers.
Candidates must have auto body experience or training to be considered, according to the MTA.
The MTA is also looking to hire 2,000 bus operators.
