Flood relief resources and meals available for Indianapolis residents

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The city of Indianapolis is hosting a set of events Saturday to help residents recover from recent flooding.

At Riverwood Park, the city will host a Flood Resource Connection Day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Residents can show up, get a hot meal, and meet directly with local agencies and community partners for assistance.

Additionally, a FEMA Mobile Registration Intake Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Broad Ripple Park Family Center. Residents can speak with relief teams and apply for the FEMA Individual Assistance Program.
