Foster Angels of South Texas to host Back to School Shoe Drive

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Foster Angels of South Texas is collaborating with CPS to collect brand-new pairs of shoes for distribution to foster children before the school year begins.

Spectrum is also supporting the cause by donating $5,000 and hosting an event at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 24 at Harlingen City Hall.

Foster Angels of South Texas and Spectrum emphasize the importance of supporting foster children in the area and encourage the public to donate shoes or purchase them directly from the organization's website.
