Fred Segal, the Los Angeles fashion staple that made its way into pop culture like the Amy Heckerling coming-of-age film, "Dawson's Creek" and "Beverly Hills: 90210," has closed its West Hollywood and Malibu stores—the last of their two clothing locations.

Founded in 1961, the clothing and accessories brand's main location was on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood. In the early 2000s paparazzi could often find A-list celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Nicole Kidman outside its famous storefronts.
