Free Ice Cream Truck taking requests from community on weekend's through August

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Want free ice cream this summer? A local initiative is giving away free ice cream to the community through August.

Kicking off this weekend for National Ice Cream Day, which falls on Sunday, July 21, San Diego Honda Dealers’ Helpful Honda Free Ice Cream truck visited community members in San Diego and Carlsbad.

The free ice cream truck will be visiting communities across San Diego County on weekends through August, according to San Diego Honda Dealers part of their Random Acts of Helpfulness initiative.
