San Diego FC is hosting two free open tryouts for boys, born between 2010-2014, next month both in the San Diego area and Mexico, the new Major League Soccer club said in a news release Monday.
On Thursday, Aug. 8, an open tryout will take place at the Surf Sports Park located at 14550 El Camino Real in Del Mar. Then on Monday, Aug. 12, a second tryout will be held at Complejo Romero Manzo located at Alejandro Humboldt, Campos Deportivos, 22430 in Tijuana.
Joaquin Escoto, the executive vice-president of SDFC’s Right to Dream Academy, called the tryouts “a significant step in our mission to connect with the community, discover and develop the best young talent in North America, providing opportunities for young players to shine."
